Place wooden skewers on either side of the potato. Slice 1/8" to 1/4" slices down to the skewers across the potato. Make sure to not cut all the way through. |
Mix together softened butter, garlic, and seasoning salt. |
Easiest to do this with a fork. |
Spread butter mixture over top of potatoes, place in a baking dish, and bake for about 45 minutes or until potatoes are crispy on the edges and softened through. |
